The laboratory for spintronics was established in the summer of 2007 by Prof. Di Wu (吴镝). The lab is located at Gulou campus of Nanjing University. It is a part of National Laboratory of Solid State Microstructures (固体微结构物理国家重点实验室), Nanjing National Laboratory of Microstructures (南京微结构国家实验室(筹)), and Collaborative Innovation Center of Advanced Microstructures (人工微结构科学与技术协同创新中心). The goals of the spintronic lab are to design and engineer nanostructures to manipulate the spin.
